CPNG (The Center for Promotion of Natural Gas) hold Cogeneration Symposium 2009 on 19 November in Tokyo with the support of CPNG members, concerned government agencies and other organizations. The topics that has been covered: development of distributed energy systems, construction of a hydrogen energy society, advanced applications of natural gas in the industrial sector, introduction of renewable energy resources, etc.
The main theme for Cogeneration Symposium 2009 was “The Role of cogeneration systems toward Realizing a Low-carbon Society”. The symposium featured the latest examples of cogeneration systems introductions together with keynote lectures and regular presentations regarding the following fields: middle to long-term outlook for construction equipment and energy systems in Japan, cogeneration systems commercialization technologies and application technologies (for higher value added), cogeneration systems carbon dioxide reduction and utilizing technologies.
