PRESS RELEASE

22 April 2021

COGEN Europe, the European Association for the Promotion of Cogeneration, is delighted that TEDOM has become its latest member. TEDOM is a manufacturer of cogeneration units committed to bring energy savings and environmentally friendly solutions to its global customers.

“With Europe increasing its climate ambitions under the European Green Deal, it is important to ramp up the deployment of renewable and energy efficient solutions. Becoming a global climate leader will require a carbon-neutral, resilient and decentralised energy system with empowered citizens and businesses leading the energy transition. TEDOM offers to society an energy efficient solution to generate heat and power which is ready for renewable fuels such as biogas. This is exactly what Europe needs to become the first green continent. Therefore, we are very happy that TEDOM joined COGEN Europe to advocate for stronger and more effective energy and climate policies”, says Hans Korteweg, Managing Director of COGEN Europe.

Vladimír Hlavinka, CEO of TEDOM stated: “TEDOM has been involved in cogeneration for 30 years and during that time we have gained a lot of experience with the application of cogeneration technology. We have long appreciated COGEN Europe's efforts to increase the importance of Combined Heat and Power and, thanks to our membership in COGEN Europe, we believe that we will be able to contribute to the debate on the further development of distributed energy sources in Europe and its move towards carbon-free energy production.”
